UniWearables is a provider of cloud-based patient data systems and IoT hardware. We work with leading health insurance companies and partners to develop and shape targeted digital solutions to hospital processes.
The first step towards achieving our mission is the development of a medical wearable device capable of continuously monitoring vital signs in general wards. Due to the modular concept, there are diverse areas of application for our technology. This enables us to offer tailor-made, individualized solutions that directly meet the requirements of the customers. By consistently focusing on user-friendliness, we would like to offer a more complete product than pre-existing solutions, as we believe that innovations in the clinical context can only succeed if they can be implemented as seamlessly as possible into existing routines.
UniSensor
Through our innovative and individual solutions in the field of patient data/IoT, we enable clinicians and caregivers to improve treatment by providing continuous insight into patients' health status. In addition to factors such as safety, quality and sustainability, which we find self-evident, our focus lies on maximizing usability and scalability.
Team
We are a team of highly motivated and specialized professionals. In the past, the two founders have developed a highly innovative and widely recognized medical wearable (BABYBE), successfully marketed it, and led it to a company exit.
With Dr. med. Oliver Opatz as our mentor, we gain valuable scientific expertise. He is a postdoctoral researcher at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, specializing in space medicine. His research focuses on the effects of extreme environmental conditions on the human body and innovative monitoring technologies.
Driven by the promising healthcare potential and the latest technological advancements, we are convinced that it is only a matter of time before continuous monitoring becomes standard for all patients in hospitals, nursing care, and homecare.
